“艺术与科学国际作品展暨学术研讨会”是由诺贝尔奖获得者、著名物理学家李政道教授和艺术大师吴冠中教授发起，作为一个世界级高端学术品牌，备受国内外瞩目。该活动已分别于2001年、2006年、2012年、2016年和2019年成功举办过五届，通过全球艺术与科学前沿探索的成果展示及学术研讨，提高了国际艺术与科学的创新水平，促进了人类艺术与科学的和谐发展。
The Art and Science International Exhibition and Symposium (TASIES) was co-initiated by the Nobel Laureate and eminent physicist Prof. Tsung-Dao Lee and the esteemed artist Prof. Wu Guanzhong as a world-class event that attracts tremendous attention from home and abroad. So far, the event has been successfully held for five sessions in 2001, 2006, 2012, 2016 and 2019, respectively. Through exhibitions and academic discussions of the results in global exploration of the frontiers in art and science, the event has raised the level of international innovation in art and science, and contributed to the harmonious development of human art and science.
第六届艺术与科学国际作品展暨学术研讨会将于2023年12月30日至2024年3月3日在北京举行，由清华大学、中国科技馆、国家科技传播中心共同主办，清华大学美术学院与清华大学艺术与科学研究中心承办。
The 6th Art and Science International Exhibition and Symposium (TASIES 2023) will be held at China Science and Technology Museum (CSTM) and the National Communication Center for Science and Technology (NCCST) from December 30th, 2023 to March 3rd, 2024. The event will be co-hosted by Tsinghua University, CSTM and NCCST, and organized by the Academy of Arts and Design (AAD) and the Art and Science Research Center (ASRC) at Tsinghua University.
时间与空间构成了我们感知的宇宙。科学界根据某些观测现象，提出了“平行宇宙”的假说，这个假说在人文领域也激发起热烈的讨论。一方面，这使我们重新审视既有的知识和经验；另一方面，也意味着更多的可能性，和更为巨大的未知空间。平行时空可以成为一个象征，也可以是一个起点。从此出发，可以感知和探索更为丰富的未来，同时也具有更包容的态度来看待世界与生活。
Time and space constitute the universe we perceive. Based on some observations, the scientific community has proposed the hypothesis of “parallel universes”, sparking heated discussions in the world of humanities. On the one hand, it allows us to re-examine our existing knowledge and experience; on the other hand, it implies more possibilities, and a greater unknown space. Parallel time and space can be a symbol or a starting point. Starting there, we can perceive and explore a richer future and at the same time embrace the world and our life with a more inclusive attitude.
我们假定未来不再是一条预定的轨迹，而是一张错综复杂的网络，每一个交汇点都可能是一个全新的世界、一个未曾想象的可能。艺术与科学在这里不再是相互独立的领域，而是彼此交融、相互促进的合力，它们共同构建了一个既具体又抽象，既现实又超然的多元宇宙。
Just assume that the future is no longer a preset trajectory, but an intricate network where each intersection may present a new world or an unimagined possibility. In this network, art and science are no longer separate domains, but two components of a joint force that are intertwined and mutually reinforcing, which together build up a multiverse that is both concrete and abstract, realistic and detached.

We invite submissions of artistic creations that integrate art and science under the theme of “Parallel Time and Space: Experience, Inclusion and Exploration”. Your submissions are expected to set the trend of design innovation, present us your speculative thinking on parallel time and space in the context of multiverse, and inspire the possibilities of future human development through the interaction between art and technology.
第六届艺术与科学国际作品展暨学术研讨会评审委员会将遴选出9件展品，授予“吴冠中艺术与科学创新奖” 。
The judging panel will select nine outstanding works from the 6th Art and Science International Exhibition, and award them the Wu Guanzhong Art & Science Innovation Prize.
